Issue attendance certificates for Google Meet

Create verifiable certificates of attendance for participants in a Google Meet meeting or recurring session, straight from their attendance data.

AttendList can turn your attendance data into certificates of attendance. Each certificate is a PDF with the participant's name, what it's for, their attendance, and a link anyone can use to verify it.

They're useful for training sessions, courses, workshops, and continuing education, or anywhere people need proof they attended. For a wider look at the options, see our guide to attendance certificates for online training.

Issuing certificates

You can issue certificates for a single meeting, or for a whole recurring session:

  • For a meeting: open the meeting and click the certificate button, or open the Certificates tab and click "Issue certificates".
  • For a recurring session: open the recurring session and click the certificate button. Certificates cover every meeting in the session.

Then fill in the form:

  • Title: what the certificate is for. It defaults to the meeting or session title.
  • Issued by: the person or organization issuing the certificate, like "J. Apple / EasyEdu".
  • Message (optional): a short message shown on every certificate.
  • Participants: tick who should get a certificate. Each participant shows their attendance, so you can see who qualifies. To pick everyone above a threshold, enter a percentage next to "Attendance ≥" and click "Select".

You can also change the name printed on each person's certificate, which is handy when someone's Google account name isn't their full name.

Click "Issue certificates", and AttendList creates one certificate per participant.

Downloading and sharing

Every batch of certificates you've issued is listed on the Certificates page. From a batch, you can:

  • View each person's certificate.
  • Download all the certificates at once, as a zip file of PDFs.

Each certificate records the person's attendance at the moment it's issued, so it never changes, even if the meeting data does.

Verifying a certificate

Every certificate includes a verification link. Anyone who opens it, like an employer or accreditation body, sees whether the certificate is genuine. They don't need an AttendList account.

Revoking certificates

If certificates were issued by mistake, open the batch and click "Revoke". The verification links will then show the certificates as revoked. This can't be undone.

Revoked certificates still count towards your plan's limit.
